Luciano Di Croce
ICREA/CRG Barcelona

Luciano Di Croce's lab at CRG focuses on understanding the mechanisms of gene regulation and epigenetics, particularly in the context of chromatin dynamics and transcriptional control in stem cells and cancer. The lab studies the role of Polycomb and Trithorax group proteins in gene silencing and activation, as well as how these factors contribute to the maintenance of cellular identity, differentiation, and tumorigenesis. Their research combines molecular biology, genomics, and cutting-edge epigenomic technologies to reveal key pathways involved in cell fate decisions and cancer progression.
